Community Emergency Response Team
The Helendale CSD is putting together a list of residents who would be interested in participating in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact our area and trains you in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
CERT offers a consistent, nationwide approach to volunteer training and organization that professional responders can rely on during disaster situations, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks.

If you are interested in learning more, you can add your name to the list. When a training opportunity becomes available, we will notify you.
